Mean People

Why people are mean?

According to Martha Beck, because they're hurt. They were crushed. Maybe their parents or their lovers made them really hurt. And they're still afraid the pain will never stop or that it will happen again.

The fact is that we've all been hurt, and we're all wounded, but not all of us are mean.

And I think mean people end up ugly their whole lives (^_^)v

There's A Lot To Learn

I've learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow.

I've learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles these three things: a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights.

I've learned that regardless of your relationship with your parents, you'll miss them when they're gone from your life.

I've learned that 'making a living' is not the same thing as 'making a life'.

I've learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance.

I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both hands; you need to be able to throw some things back.

I've learned that whenever I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision.

I've learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one.

I've learned that every day you should reach out and touch someone. People love a warm hug, or just a friendly pat on the back.

I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.

I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.

I Am A Liar

Lie is something meant to deceive or give a wrong impression.
Lie is to present false information with the intention of deceiving.

Sometimes people lie to get what they want, or for their own sake. Or when they know they couldn't get something or someone they like, they will tell lies to other people so that other people can't have it too.

What a shame. They don't think the consequences what if people find out that they already tell a lie. What do they think about that? How can people trust them anymore? Maybe people will see "I am a liar" written on their forehead. That would be funny, actually

A Woman and A Man

Some people say there are 2 sides to every story. But for me there are three:

1. Their side
2. Your side, and
3. The truth

Happiness Is...

Happiness is a consistent, moderate state of satisfaction or joy. True happiness with yourself and your life comes from having a strong, balanced, consistently positive approach to yourself and your world. If a person doesn't feel an overall sense of happiness with life, there must be something wrong.

If happiness is a skill set, then you can learn to be happier. Some people seem to be born happy. Or perhaps these "happier" people have simply already learned these happiness skills through their interactions, through reading, or by having a keen perception into human nature. Their happiness is something you can learn from and achieve for yourself.

Even happy people have down days. It's unrealistic to expect permanent, nonstop happiness. Such a thing doesn't exist in reality. However, you can learn to be more content with your life, confident in yourself, grateful for what you have, committed to your personal growth, full of laughter and good cheer, and optimistic. You can also learn to develop positive, supportive relationships with the people around you. In fact, by focusing yourself steadfastly on these seven areas, you can quite readily achieve them. Just remember that by enjoying yourself on your path to greater happiness, you're already a good way to achieving what you desire.
